Hello! Today I am so excited because I finally have my first products up on my RedBubble shop! This is something I've been working on for the past few weeks, but wanting to do for even longer- so to have the first couple products LIVE and ready to shop is an exciting day for me!

I decided to release coffee mugs first because I am an avid coffee mug collector (my mom likes to refer to me more as a "hoarder") and my perfect morning routine consists of drinking a big cup of coffee out of a cute mug. I used a few different paint stroke patterns since that is one of my favorite patterns to paint! this is the same design I used to paint my Christmas ornaments this year! You can see my custom ornaments I painted on my instagram here.

Although these are a little late to use as holiday gifts- they are so cute to give as gifts to your mom, sister, aunt, best friend... really anyone who loves color and coffee! One of my favorite gifts to give friends is a cute little mug with a little present inside like a Starbucks gift card, their favorite coffee, or even some of their favorite chocolates or candies!

Coffee Date

Hello, and happy Friday! I want to start a little weekly series where I share some updates, favorites, more personal stories and more. Also check back soon for more updates about the shop coming in January!

This past week I took my last final of the fall semester and I am now officially on winter break! It's been so nice to just relax and sleep in a little after a long semester. Some other projects I'm working on (aside from AMD) are cleaning out my room, listing clothes on my Poshmark closet, and reading one of the many books I have piled up on my nightstand. I think I'm going to start off with Crushing it by Gary Vee. Has anyone else read it?!

I also started wrapping my Christmas gifts this week! One of my favorite Christmas hacks I've learned this year is to get wrapping paper from Homegoods- great quality and only $2.99 a roll! I'm pretty proud of myself for being this ahead of the game with holiday shopping and wrapping considering last year I finished everything on December 24...ha!

I've also started playing around again with painting designs and creative cloud, so products are coming and I am so excited! What kinds of things would you like to see from me? I'd love to see suggestions in the comments below!

Anthropologie is having a 30% off S A L E today on their website and I couldn't help but browse through and add to my christmas wish list... ;)

I saw this bag while christmas shopping last week and fell in love. Santa, if you're reading this I'd love to see this under the tree!

This candle is everyone's favorite, I'm currently burning one at my desk right now!

How cute is this donut wreath ornament?! If you know me, you know I'm obsessed with donuts, so basically I need this ornament.

I hoard cute coffee mugs so I need this cute floral monogram mug. They'd make great christmas gifts as well!

Welcome to Angela Marie Designs!

Hello and welcome to Angela Marie Designs! I'm so glad you found my little space! Here you will find information about my unique and affordable gifts (coming in January 2019!), gift guides for every occasion, interviews with some of my favorite shop owners, podcast and book favorites, style inspiration, beauty and skincare routines and more! This blog space will serve as my "landing page" for everything AMD, so you'll be able to easily access my shop as well as all of my social media pages so you'll never miss a beat!

Since this is my first blog post I thought it would be fun to share a little more about me. I previously shared five fun facts over on my instagram account- make sure to follow along there as well to stay updated!

1.) I have had multiple blogs/businesses in the past...ha! With the hustle and bustle of school and work I always crave a creative outlet and a space to share my ideas. A few years ago I was working on selling personalized stationery on Etsy and I loved working on that. I watercolored my designs, scanned them in on the built-in scanner on our printer, and stayed up until 1-2 a.m. on photoshop designing away! I had to shut it down due to school getting busier but have wanted to do something like that ever since! Angela Marie Designs is a way that I can combine my love for painting and creativity with my drive for business and entrepreneurship!

2.) This idea was completely random but came at the best time. I was thinking that I wanted to start blogging again but wanted to have some sort of purpose/ incorporation of products. However, I was in a creative rut. When I was on Thanksgiving break I decided to spend my break making ornaments to gift to my sorority sisters since I had so many friends that deserved a gift but I couldn't afford to get all 10 of my closest friends expensive presents. A trip to Michaels's and $35 later I was ready to go! My sister came over on Thanksgiving morning and commented on how cute the ornaments were and after another cup of coffee and some more brainstorming my creative rut was officially a thing of the past and before Thanksgiving dinner I had set up everything I needed for this new project...ha!

3.) Random, but my favorite restaurant is Noodles and Company! I always get the mac and cheese. My BF makes fun of me because every time he asks me where I want to go for dinner, I always say Noodles and Company- even when we're out of town! I'm pretty sure he's sick of it by now, ha!

4.) John Mayer is my favorite musician! I've loved his songs for a few years now and I've even had the chance to see in concert! His "Continuum" album is by far the best and I currently have it playing on repeat! (Along with Christmas music, of course!)

5.) My favorite stores to shop at are Old Navy and Target! I feel like I never leave empty handed from either of those two places and I can always find the best deals. Plus, as a broke college student I have a pretty tight budget, lol!
